Words from Our Founder

It started with the bread. I became known for my dinner rolls and soon had regular holiday "orders" from friends and family.

When I was laid off with half of the country recently, I decided to try something new and started selling bread and cookies at local farmer's markets and events.

Quiche, pastries, bundt cakes, chicken salad, and pimento cheese soon joined my table, and with the emotional and financial support of my ever-patient husband, Gingham Bakehouse went from farmer's markets to a brick-and-mortar location.

We can still be found at Shore Drive Farmer's Markets every Saturday, and in ICC Building 18 off North Center Drive Mondays through Fridays!
